Pulitzer Prize for music has more than 60 years and the youngest winner in 2013 Opera Online
A while ago I was surprised felix salten bambi to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music (since 1943!). For composition, not journalism about music ... How Pulitzer topic these days worries me and I studied the issue in more detail and found that in 2013 was won by Caroline Shaw of only 30 years. "Partita for eight voices" is an acapella work for a range of voices and sounds absolutely brilliant. Words, sounds, whispers, shouts compose music fascinating felix salten bambi and difficult to define, it seems to me that they claim all sorts of styles, periods and influences but is completely original in its unity. If you have time, listen, it's a very special experience. Find work in four parts on the official website of the composer.
