Bernadette Lafont has died - DN.SE
Lafont debuted in Francois Truffaut's movie "Stealth Viewers' in 1957 and worked during his long career with several other great French directors such as Claude Chabrol, Louis Malle and Nelly Kaplan. 1985 was awarded her a César, the French equivalent of a Guldbagge for his role in Claude Miller's "I'm not a baby anymore" and in 2003 she received an Honorary César for his work in the film.
Bernadette Lafont, who was self-taught and known for its natural way in front of the camera, never put acting on the shelf. She starred in particular in Julie Delpys movie "Skylab" 2011. Lafont fell ill on Monday at his home in Nimes and died early Thursday.
