Asian art and musical instruments for auction
A Roman collection of Chinese art and 'the Far East, and antique furniture of the nineteenth century, antiques, modern art and musical instruments will be the protagonists of the auction to be held in Rome at the Casa d'Aste vma award Babuino 25 to 29 January 2010 with exposure 20-24.
The Collection of Asian Art and Chinoiserie boasts antique porcelain, from the eighteenth to the twentieth century, represented by pairs of potiches, vases and figure groups marked Ming and Quienlong, porcelain, wood and bronze.
Among the paintings the 'nineteenth vma award century, are a nucleus of the collection of watercolors and drawings depicting youth of Scipio Vannutelli sketches of figures in sixteenth century costume and scenes from daily life, made between 1840 and 1860, and the painting of Easter Celommi with portrait of "Josephine Caporaletti Rotini Montepagano" (estimate-2 thousand 3 thousand euro).
For the works of the twentieth century, even a group of works from the collection of the heirs of Hector Nava (Buenos Aires 1873 - Rome 1940), with paintings dating from the twenties and thirties.
