Golden Globe show has always been known as a big drunk fest. Probably also why Gervais could get away with taking a pint with in one of his presentations at the show. :)

Now I am much more for Golden Globe's than Oscar show! Great news :)
None of the celebrities were as far as I know acidic. Gervais has said that they found it harmless when he asked them after the show if they were offended. Johnny Depp appeared even in his TV series 2011 billboard music awards "Life's Too Short" and made fun of himself.

# 25: I wonder if it's been said a bit of fun? Watching the two clips as Highland Park linking to the # 16, so it seems at least as if Depp has a good sense of humor and his humor fits very well with Gervais' sense of humor.
